Matthew 5:17-37 Good morning dear Friends in Christ Jesus!
How are you all? Today we live in a world of choices. There are so many advertisements in the shops, market places we see every day; for example: in the shops we find that if you buy one thing another thing is free; have you seen like this advertisements? yes or no? In the same manner God is also Giving us the choices to live our earthily life in a better way.
Dear friends where do you want your dwelling place after your death? heaven? hell? or Purgatory? choice is yours? which one you want to choose?
In the first reading we read that God has placed before us the life and death; blessings and curses, and he has given us the permission to choose what we want? Now you tell me do you want blessings or curses? Life or death?
If it so, do you want to send your children to school or seminary, or do you want to send your children to school or catechism classes?. Now reflect and answer before God where your preferences for your life and children’s life? I do not say that you should not send your children to school or you should not educate your children? But my question is that where is your preferences? God or Education?
Dear friends in the same book of Sirach 1:14 we read that Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. 1:16 Fear of God end of wisdom. Choosing God as a first place gives us blessings to our lives. When we see the life of all the saints they gave preferences to God first, only than the worldly things. St. Paul, St. Augustine are the best example for us. In the beginning they were only searching the worldly things later when they found Jesus is a true treasure they even ready to sacrifice their lives for the Christ.
in the second reading we find that Holy spirit is main agent for us to choose the right choice for our lives. also in the responsorial psalm we see that the one who walks in the commands of God will be blessed always! So dear friends with the guidance of the Holy spirit let us choose what is best for us. And in the Gospel Jesus clearly tell us the choices for our lives.
if anyone who teaches the word of God will be called little in the kingdom of heaven, and one who practices the Word of God will be called greater in the kingdom of heaven. So dear friends, do you want to teach the word of God or do you want to follow the word of God!
My dear friends, in the world there are three different kinds of people are living on this earth. They are listeners, preachers, practicers. Do you understand what it means? Who are all listeners? Who are all preachers? And who are all practicers? For example; the (faithful) you are all listeners – I am a preacher – St. paul, mama marie etc are practicers?
Now according to the idea of Jesus there are only last two categories of people are recognized in the Gospel. One who teaches the word of God will be called little in the kingdom of heaven, and one who practices the Word of God will be called greater in the kingdom of heaven. Now what about the listeners? Listeners are faithful, is in it? oui or non? Then, are you not blessed by God? Yes dear friends you are all blessed. how? Now what is the role of the listeners? The listeners must listen carefully and after listening you must choose any of these two categories of preachers or practicers? Now tell me what are your choices? do you want to be preachers or do you want to be practicers? or just you want to remain as only listeners? reply to me?
Once there was a king living in a country. He was good man. He used to give lots of advices and guidelines to the people but he never followed it. for example he used to tell to the people “my dear people you must love your neighbours but the king used to wage a war against neighboring countries and killed many people; and he used to tell my dear people you must forgive your enemies but the king used to fight against his enemies, also he use to tell do not steal anything but when he goes for war first he used to steal neighbours arms, he used to tell do not do adultery but he has lots of wives, so likewise the king will preach one thing and never practiced in his life.
One day the king died and went to judgmental court in heaven. In heaven there are three big halls. One is way to heaven, the other is way to hell, and the third is Purgatory place. The king was standing in the judgmental place after the verdict the king was send to purgatory. He was very sad and began to notice his country people and the enemies, many were in heaven and only the king was in the purgatory. He was shocked to see all of them in heaven. Now the king asked the angel; how come all my country people and enemies are in heaven and only I am in the purgatory. While I was on this earth I used to teach many things to the people. Then the angel replied to him. Yes dear king you used to teach to your people but you never followed in your life. But these people listened to your teachings and they observed your teaching, finally, practiced it in their lives.
Since you thought them you are called little in the kingdom of heaven so your place is purgatory whereas your people and enemies practiced the good things so, they are called great in the kingdom of heaven; so their place is heaven. therefore, my dear friends in Christ where do you want to go? do you want to go to hell? or do you want to go to heaven? or do you want to go to Purgatory? do you want to listeners or preachers or practicers? Choice is yours? Let us decide?

the same God cannot save you without permission!
